What languages do your drivers speak?
We speak English and Indonesian, but may be able to accommodate other languages. Please ask us.
I usually just rent a car. Why hire a driver?
Driving in Indonesia is…shall we say, unique. If you’re not used to the traffic, road size, and driving style here it’s unlikely you’ll be very safe or have much fun driving. Luckily the costs of hiring a private driver in Indonesia are on par with renting a car in most countries.
Are there ride apps in Bali like Uber or Lyft?
Yes. While in Bali using the Grab or GoJek apps to book rides is a great move, especially for short one-way trips and errands. However these apps aren’t available in all areas, including many tourist areas. You would generally book a private car when you want your driver to wait for you at your destinations, travel to multiple destinations, or accommodate larger groups.
